Bran Nue Dae (PG) Plot In 1969, Willie (McKenzie) has an idyllic life in Broome, fishing, hanging with mates and courting his girl, Rosie (Mauboy). Sent to a Catholic mission in Perth by his mother, he escapes after a run-in with the headmaster, Father Benedictus (Rush). After teaming up with a homeless drunk, Uncle Tadpole (Dingo), the duo embark on a road trip back to Broome, encountering colourful characters, while trying to stay one step ahead of Benedictus.
